西湖旁群山中的杨梅岭是九溪十八涧源头之一，山也民宿就坐落在杨梅岭上的龙井茶园边，放眼望去，皆是山景。

从市区一路驱车穿过满觉陇路的密林来到这里，就像在过去与当下之间来往交替。因此我们有意在山也的设计中制造一种戏剧张力——让现代惯用的英文与苏轼的书迹（Logo中的汉字“山也”出自苏轼书欧阳修《醉翁亭记》）产生冲突，发生新的化学反应。Logo图形则直观展现民宿的建筑外观，三个宽窄不同的H构成复数的“Hill”

民宿一楼还藏匿着酒吧HILLSAYHI，意可在酒，也可在山水。山也，观山赏茶做醉翁。

Yangmei Ling in the mountains beside West Lake is one of the nine streams and eighteen streams sources, and Hills Hotel is located on the edge of the Longjing tea garden on Yangmei Ling, with mountain views as far as the eye can see.

Driving from the city through the dense forest of Manjuelong Road to this place is like alternating between the past and the present. Therefore, we intended to create dramatic tension in the design - to create a conflict between the modern English language and Su Shi's handwriting (the Chinese character "山也" in the logo is from Su Shi's book Ouyang Xiu's "Records of the Drunken Master") and to create a new chemical reaction. The logo is a visual representation of the building's exterior, with three H's of different widths forming the plural "Hill".

The first floor of the Hills also houses the bar HILLSAYHI, which can be in the wine or the landscape. The mountain is also a place to watch the mountain and enjoy tea as a drunkard.
